Canadian Mechanical Keyboard Meetup // July, 2026

The biggest keyboard meetup of the year in Canada is back! This time we returned to the Toronto Reference Library’s Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, and I couldn’t have been happier. It’s been a while since we’ve had a meetup here, and I forgot just how much I love this venue.

The turnout absolutely blew me away. People flew in from all over just to spend the day together, and it made the whole event feel incredibly special. Every year I wonder how these meetups can get any better, and somehow they always do. This was easily one of my favourite Toronto meetups to date.

On a more personal note, this one meant a lot to me. I had friends make the trip out, I got to spend time catching up with so many familiar faces, and met plenty of new ones along the way. These moments are honestly what make these events so memorable and why I recommend meet ups to almost everyone in the hobby. The keyboards are what bring us together, but it’s the people and the conversations that keep me coming back.

That said, the keyboards absolutely delivered too (we can’t forget about those!). There were so many amazing builds to check out and every table had something that made you stop and take a closer look. I was really fond of the all the artisans this year!
