So, anyone who has spoken to me knows how much I REALLY dig this design. Hello Caps does two variants (most of the time) of this cap. One is the traditional bongo cat, while the other is this artistic and unique design which features the cat as half of a skeleton. This version of the cap is called Schrodinger bongo cat. For reference:
Schrödinger’s cat is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935, though the idea originated from Albert Einstein. It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects.
With that out of the way, I actually got to speak to Hello Caps about his design with some other friends and I am just in awe. It’s so creative and the design’s smooth and simple characteristics really allow for the details added to pop and I appreciate how much thought went into this. This is by far one of my favourite caps in my collection. This particular cap was themed after Diana from the anime Sailor Moon, which I am a fan of!
Amazing, amazing and more amazing? My cap was purchased second hand but was absolutely flawless. The resin details added in the cap are outstanding and the surface wonderfully done with almost no imperfections.
A+ for me!
Great fit! No slipping or wobble and it’s not overly tight to the point where I think I’d damage it during normal use. Other than that, the butt of the cap has a small smiley face on it. So that’s neat.
I am still in awe every time I look at this beautiful cap. Hello Caps did a great job and I will continue to support him and his fantastic work. Check him out here!
Camera equipment used is a Sony A7rii and a 55mm Sony FE Zeiss f/1.8 with some macro tube extensions. I also use continuous LED panels to set up these shots for lighting.
