The Schema Input series is built around a simpler design language inspired by Bowl and my previous release, the Manta. We wanted to take everything that made that project special and reinterpret it through a more minimal, brutalist lens.

This time around, we had a few goals in mind: a 60% layout with support for universal PCBs, compatibility with most hall-effect PCBs, and a proper poron gasket mount. It’s a classic typing experience, and honestly, something I’ve missed having in my rotation.

So we brought all of that together. We kept the signature fin design from the Manta, refined and simplified it, then built the board around the features we actually wanted to use ourselves. The result was the first prototype of the Schema Input M60.

Once the prototypes arrived and we built them up, we immediately fell in love with the sound and feel of the board.
